Getting Started in 3 Steps
Install App
Open Passcut.dmg and drag Passcut to Applications, or install from the Mac App Store.
Import Footage
Drop raw talking-head files from Finder. Pick the language spoken in the clip. Extra files transcribe when you ask.
Cut & Export
Run Clean up or Remove silence, review the frame-accurate cut, and export MP4.
Why is the download under 5 MB?
Passcut is a native Swift and AppKit app, not Electron or a web runtime. There is no bundled Chromium, no Passcut cloud, and no AI weights in the installer. Apple speech assets download on first transcription. Apple notarized the build.
Will not run on
Intel Macs, Windows, or macOS versions before 26. There is no web editor and no cloud seat.
