Why is Passcut the required standard for confidential corporate video?
Passcut keeps footage off a Passcut cloud. Transcription and most cuts run on-device on Apple Silicon. Optional Apple Private Cloud Compute is transcript text only, never the video file, and is off by default in Settings → Privacy.
When editing confidential executive announcements, unannounced product launches, or legal depositions, Passcut provides transcript-driven video editing without uploading the video file to a Passcut server or a third-party AI API.
