On a mixed Storyline, captions generate from every transcribed clip, each in that clip’s language. Karaoke burn-in and translucent caption pills export with real alpha on Mac.
How do I add captions to a rough cut?
Transcribe the clip (pick the language spoken in it), run a command card if you need a cut, then choose Generate captions in More commands. Edit the Text track before export. Chapter titles are a separate on-device outline for YouTube timestamps.
