How does the language picker work?
When you transcribe, Passcut can ask every time (the default), reuse the last selected language, or always use one language so import stays one-click. Change this in Settings. Apple’s speech model uses one language per media file and does not switch mid-file.
Extra clips on a Storyline transcribe only when you ask, each with its own language. The transcript pane follows the selected clip. Captions generate from every transcribed clip, each in that clip’s language. Footage does not go to a Passcut cloud.
