How does Passcut screen capture work?
Passcut records a display, window, or dragged region on Lite or Pro, with optional system audio, microphone, and webcam overlay. The take lands on the Storyline as native media. Footage does not go to a Passcut cloud.
Auto-zoom is an edit on the timeline and does not crop the file. Demo Frame in the Inspector adds padding, corners, shadow, and a styled cursor. Starting capture on an existing clip asks Split & Insert, Place Before, or Place After.
What stays linked?
Screen plus webcam plus mic from one recording stay a linked take. Trim the screen clip to trim all three. Drag webcam or mic to slip-sync. Option-drag to unlink. Deleting the screen clip deletes the rest of the take.
